Your Pronoun Bar is a special space on your profile where you can share a bit about yourself with others. Here's how to use it thoughtfully and creatively, while keeping within our guidelines:

  1. Your Pronouns: This is the primary purpose of the Pronoun Bar. Feel free to share how you like to be addressed.

  2. Your Gender: Sharing your gender is completely optional, but if you choose to, this is the place for it.

  3. Your Age: Also optional. If you decide to share, please add "age:" before your age to avoid any mix-ups, especially since some users use numbers as pronouns.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Keep It Relevant: Emojis, fancy fonts, decorative symbols, and personal beliefs or identifiers (like race, religion, ethnicity) should not go in your Pronoun Bar. Your status, profile, or signature are the perfect spots for these expressions.

  • Respect and Understanding: We're all about promoting a positive and inclusive environment. If someone has chosen not to fill out their Pronoun Bar, that's perfectly fine. A gentle nudge to use this feature is okay, but please, only once.

  • Safety First: The ๐Ÿ”ถ symbol is a safe way to indicate that sharing your preferred pronouns isn't safe for you in real life. It's a feature we support for your well-being.

  • Exploration and Identity: It's okay to be figuring things out. "Questioning" and "Uncertain" are valid entries if you're unsure about your pronouns.

This space is here for you to share a bit about yourself in a way that feels right to you, while also respecting the diverse and vibrant Everskies community. Let's make sure it remains a place of understanding and respect for everyone!
